Q.

#AskTheExpert I am 39 weeks pregnant and today tested covid19 positive. My due date is 29th Jan. Expecting to meet doctor in an hour. If they operate and deliver the baby now, how will the the feeding done to baby? What all will be the scenarios.

A. You can feed your baby all by yourself even if you are COVID-19 positive and also inform your doctor that you are having the infection and make sure that you use all sorts of disinfection procedures.Write Your Answer Here

A. Coronavirus has not been found in breast milk. It's safe to breastfeed if you have COVID-19. But new moms with COVID-19 could spread the virus to their infant through tiny droplets that spread when they talk, cough, or sneeze.
