#AskTheExpert how to starts with solids ? What all can be given to babies? What AC temperature is optimum for 6 month old ?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. you need to protect your child from Summer heat by keeping comfortable temperature around and using cotton clothes .you can apply zoccon powder on the prickly heat rash area. The area should be kept dry and clean . You can give bath daily with lukewarm water using a mild soap like baby hug or sebamed . Additionally can allow the child to sleep in AC at a temperature maintaining 26 to 27 degree centigrade but try to avoid any direct air of cooler or AC over the baby. you need to maintain very good hydration by giving more of liquids to the baby if the child is above 6 month of age or else can give frequent feeding and monitor the urine output regularly. ha de
