Include all food groups that your family has traditionally. Give 3 large portions and 2 small snacks in a day. Try as much to avoid giving outside foods. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in the diet. Keep your baby hydrated all through the day. Let the child be physically active as much as possible. There should be a gradual weight gain in your child accompanied by reaching the milestones. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
