1. Start with Dry Fruit Powder (Best Option) Almonds, cashews, walnuts, pistachios – Take a few and dry roast them to remove moisture. Grind them into a fine powder and mix it with baby food (like porridge, mashed fruits, or dal). Start with a small pinch and gradually increase. 2. Dry Fruit Paste (Soaked & Blended) Soak almonds, walnuts, and dates overnight in warm water. Peel the almonds, blend all into a smooth paste, and mix with baby food. 3. Add to Porridge or Purees Mix powdered or paste form with ragi, oats, rice cereal, or fruit purees. Avoid giving whole dry fruits as they are a choking hazard. 4. Avoid Honey & Salt Do not mix dry fruits with honey before 1 year (risk of botulism). Avoid salted or sugar-coated dry fruits. 5. Observe for Allergies Introduce one nut at a time and wait for 3–4 days to check for reactions like rashes, swelling, or tummy issues. If there's a family history of nut allergies, consult a doctor before introducing them.
