Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. it is advisable to give only breastfeeding to the child and nothing else and meet your doctor if you feel that the child is not getting proper weight who will tell you whether formula milk needs to be given or not

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good afternoon formula milk is safe. Try to feed for longer duration. 15-20 mins each breast. This way baby will get balanced foremilk and hind milk. Foremilk comes in the beginning for 5-10 mins then comes the hind milk which is rich in fats and can help baby gain weight. So always empty a breast each
