A. Hi Mom, if your baby is active, happy and having feeds properly then nothing to worry. we can expect baby to gain about 500 gm.to 1 kg in a month, double at 6 months and triple at the age of 1 year as compared to baby's birth weight. small deviation is absolutely fine. continue exclusive breastfeeding to baby for complete 6 months. feed on regular intervals, or on demand. follow good hygiene practice avoid force feeding and overfeeding.
