#AskTheExpert how to be wean off my baby easily? he is already one year old and needs my feed to sleep at night. I tried to make him sleep without it but couldn't. He cried too much.

Gayatri DawdaMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi just like starting, stopping Breastfeeding may also take lot of effort make baby sleep away from mother at night. for a week or so even if baby cries ,do not wrry this is a temporary phase & baby will stop demanding. feed soon

Aditi SinhaMom of a 9 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. hi, I would recommend to keep breastfeeding as baby is very small unless you are seeking separation from. baby due to employment or any other reason. please continue breastfeeding at least till baby is 1.5 or 2 years. If you still want to do bottle feed try it once or twice a day so that baby gets used to it and later continue it for all the feeds. thanks
