#asktheexpert how much formula and breastmilk to give a 3 month old . should I follow a schedule ? because I work have to supplement with formula , how do I know my baby getting enough nutrition ?

A. Hi, Feeding gap depends upon the baby, some babies sleep a lot for continuous 2-3 hours, so you check when your baby is demanding milk, usually they want milk between 2-3 hours Intially. All the nutritional requirements of the baby are met by the breastmilk. If baby is active healthy otherwise, not cranky, pee count is 7-8 times a day, gaining weight means he is getting enough milk.
