ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. dear mum, you should feed your 3 weeks old baby on demand that is whenever baby wants and how much baby wants. let baby guide the feeding process. you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete.

Newborns need to be fed 8-12 times every 24 hours. Once you’ve got the hang of it, most feeds take 20 minutes or so. But in the early days and weeks, they might take up to an hour. As your baby grows, the time baby takes to feed will reduce. And for most babies, the number of feeds will reduce too.
