Q.

#AskTheExpert how do we get to know that the mothers breast feed is enough for a new born of 17 days. if baby cries after feed and doesn't want to further take mothers feed and is accepting formula feed through bottle is it suggested?

A. -Adequate wet diapers or nappies. Colorless and odourless urine minimum 6-7 times a day. -If you have a good supply of milk then then the baby seeming lethargic and calm while feeding can be a sign that the tummy is full. -If the baby is fussy after feeds, then ur baby is still hungry or tummy is not full yet.

A. hi but why you are giving formula? no need of it. please continue with breastfeeding only. and if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight, passes urine at least 7 or 8 times in a day ,it means that your child is getting enough milk. but if you have low milk supply, you can take supplements like leptadin tablet or shatavary granular with warm milk for this.
