#AskTheExpert How do I know if my baby is overfeeding? As he is spitting milk frequently after 5 mins of feed session.

A. hi parent feed the baby in sitting and c arm position burp everytime after feeding check the flow of milk if it's excess also baby light spit often maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. light spitting is normal....you have to make sure that after feed baby has burb .... otherwise whatever you feed ur baby it will come out....and try to maintain 2 hrs of gap in feeding l

A. Spitting up is normal and completely harmless for most infants. When the spitting up or vomiting becomes too frequent, your child may have Gastroesophageal Reflux (GER). This reflux is a result of an immature digestive system and the poor closure of the valve (ring of muscle) at the upper end of the stomach.
