#AskTheExpert How can one know if a newborn baby is crying because of gas? Sometimes we see baby being fussy for no reason, it is hard to guess what can calm him.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Bloated tummy, excessive crying, with no reason.. Post feeding burping is importan. To help expel gas Practicing tummy time will help. Massage on tummy in clockwise direction. Apply hing paste around navel Colicaid drops if crying is excessive.

You need to check n identity if its gas if slowly rub your baby's tummy in clockwise direction this would help also you can help baby do cycling exercisezs to baby. if still baby is uncomfortable try to give some warm compress. it may help your baby and can relax
