Q.

#AskTheExpert Hloo mam My periods are irregular for the last 4-5 months.I am a brest feeding mother of 11 months old baby.is it normal? or should i visit a doctor for this.

A. in case you are a breastfeeding mom then it's very normal to have irregularities in periods till one year due to hormonal fluctuations. take iron calcium and multivitamin regularly and use effective contraceptive measures for child spacing

You should visit the doctor because for initial six months after you resume with your period there can be a possibility of having an abnormal cycle but still since it has been for sometime now it is better that you consult a gynaecologist the things are very commonly to hormonal changes but these can be taken care with proper medication as wellWrite Your Answer Here
