I think It is an issue associated with the breath and lungs of your child so it would be advisable for you as of now to consult an ENT doctor to get it checked sometimes when kids cry or they’re not feeling well and they are short of breath it could be due to adenoids also but for that you’ll have to consult your doctor to be more sure about it
