#AskTheExpert hlo mam... my baby is not well... she has infection flu.. her head is always hot as compared to body

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. give paracetamol to the baby It is quite common that in small babies the head will be having largest surface area naturally there is more blood supply to the head similarly both palms and soles will be having more blood supply they are warmer for feeling it is not fever no need of any medicines And they will be sweating also to regulate body temperature

Tats Normal sometime in the body will be warmer than the head and sometimes ahead is going to be much warmer than the body but that’s considered normal at this age your child is suffering with flu that could be one of the reasons but in general also it is considered absolutely normal
