Q.

#AskTheExpert Hii..my son is 1 year and 2 months old..Babies are recommended to get vitamin D supplement for one year.. i was also giving same to my baby. But now even after giving my baby the same for one year I am still left with an entire bottle of Vitamin D supplement in stock. So i am still giving it even after completion of one year. Just wanted to know that is it fine to give the vitamin D supplement even after completion of one year or do I need to stop?

A. Let that bottle finish and then you can stop after that. Yes it is true that you’re supposed to give for one year but it is not harmful if you give for a few more days. But no need to continue after that.

A. See mostly you should stop after the timer one year but if you have let’s talk whatever bottle you have finish it and stop using it and still if you would want you can confirm with your doctor because there is no problem as such because the dosage is very mild that you give in the beginning so it’s not a problem
