Q.

#asktheexpert hi some vaccines were given through anganwadi centers. Are those sufficient to the child or do we need to give any extra vaccines from private hospitals?

A. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio imrrtmunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine.

The Anganwadi is going to cover all the important vaccination is that a recommended to be given to a child only just the private hospitals are going to cover more of optional vaccinations as well if you don’t want to go ahead with option vaccination then don’t go for private hospitalsWrite Your Answer Here
