#AskTheExpert Hi sir. teathing will affect baby weight gain. My 5 months old baby boy not gaining weight. it's like he is losing weight for last week.

A. Another reason your baby might lose his appetite is teething. Since your baby's teeth coming through is likely to coincide with weaning, you may find his self-feeding progress stalls a little. If you have any concerns about your baby's weight, always ask your health visitor or GP for advice.
