#AskTheExpert Hi Sir, My daughter will turn 6 months on 13th. Could you please suggest what can I start giving initially and in how much quantity?

A. Good morning, Now's the time to start solids! Introduce 1 to 2 tablespoons to 3 to 9 tablespoons of cereal, fruit and vegetables, plus around 24 to 30 ounces (up to 32 to 36 ounces at most) of breast milk or formula a day.
