#AskTheExpert hi sir my baby is 9 months old , weight 7 kgs , by birth formula milk is given. still formula milk and rice I given to her please suggest me sir weight gaining food for my baby

A. 7 kgs weight is okay.. Give three meal and one snack a day Continue Giving bm/fm in between and on demand. You can give Daal Khichdi with adding variety of veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli... Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, porridge adding fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana... Give wheat Dalia adding veggies. curd rice, curd roti(soaked), Daal roti(mashed and soaked) is one of the best meal for babies.. You can add few drops of ghee and dry fruits Powder in each preparation to enhance nutritional value.

A. weight gaining foods for baby are potato sweet potato ragi eggs banana dry fruit as cashew almonds in paste or powdered form, ghee butter cheese in moderate amount.. give natural appetizer as coconut water ajwain water or jeera water.. give baby ragi porridge wheat porridge rice porridge,cerelac dalia sabudana, puree of fruit and vegetables, dal roti doodh roti, khichdi, dal with vegetables..
