Q.

#AskTheExpert hi sir my baby is 10 month old, in the ninth month my baby had typhoid but he gets fever very quickly sir what's is the reason for this and why does this happen again and again?

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kgc/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do colffd sponging of the body if required

A. hi dear When you suspect that your baby has a fever, take your baby's temperature with a thermometer. A rectal temperature of more than 100.4°F (38°C) is considered a fever. In most cases, a fever is a sign that your baby's body is fighting an infection.
