#AskTheExpert hi sir, I have not fed my 1m old baby since yesterday night.. now my breasts are clogged and very painful and my baby is not taking feed now.. and continuously crying.. what should I do now

A. Tips for Unclogging a Milk Duct Prior to nursing or pumping, use a warm, moist compress on the plugged area for several minutes, then massage the area to break up the blockage. Begin your nursing or pumping (if single pumping) on the affected side until the blockage is broken up

Hi mom Discard extra milk Consult your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment Give adequate feeding every two hours of intervals Burp well after every feeding Try to keep head up position while feeding Take healthy protein rich nutritious food fruits vegetables to increase your milk supply More sucking leads to more milk Stay hydrated
