#asktheexpert Hi, Rudransh is 50 days old. he is having a cold and cough but no fever from the last 6 days, We consulted a doctor and he suggested, 2 time Nebulizer for 3 days, Sinarest-AF drop and Kufril drop. I would say there is little progress but at night he is having trouble while sleeping. Could you please suggest what I would like to do.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral hiiinfection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
