#asktheexpert hi my kid had cold and cough last week and got high fever for which the ped prescribed antibiotic and then he was fine and no coughing at all this week again he got cough and then fever for how long this antibiotic works? he took yearly flu vaccine last Nov. taking it again this year will do any good? is it good to give the antibiotics every now n then

A. Antibiotics can show a good result within the time of 3 to 5 days that completely or normal time but if you see that the child is continuously having a problem you have to give antibiotics again after that that means are there some another problem could be allergy or something and continuously repeating antibiotics is never a good
