#AskTheExpert Hi. My daughter is 6 months old. We switched her formula from Stage 1 Dexolac to Stage 2 and she was constipated horribly. We've switched her back to stage 1 and she's feeling so much better now. Is it alright to continue with stage 1 formula till we wean her off formula and introduce cow's milk at 12 months?

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl2 years agoA. Yes It’s always better to go for stage two after completing the age of seven months by then a child is quite used to having semisolid food also so they have a tendency to digest a little heavier stuff so that is going to be helpful
