Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi. My daughter is 6 months old. We switched her formula from Stage 1 Dexolac to Stage 2 and she was constipated horribly. We've switched her back to stage 1 and she's feeling so much better now. Is it alright to continue with stage 1 formula till we wean her off formula and introduce cow's milk at 12 months?

A. Yes It’s always better to go for stage two after completing the age of seven months by then a child is quite used to having semisolid food also so they have a tendency to digest a little heavier stuff so that is going to be helpful
