#AskTheExpert hi my baby is not pooping regularly. he is 12 weeks old. last time it was around 9 days. We had to take him to hospital and keep laxative. the doctor advised me to give him raisin water but I am not comfortable with it as the baby is too young for it. Can you give me some suggestions

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. don't give risin water. typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowel movement is ok n nothing to worry
