#AskTheExpert Hi. My baby is 6 Months old & she feed breastmilk frequently. Can I take vaccine against covid ? Is it safe for my baby?

A. its better to wait till one year. as antibodies may pass from mother's milk to baby so sign and symptoms can vary in infants..so let your child complete his first year

A. pregnant women it is suggested to not to take the vaccination but for the women who are breast-feeding there is no such guideline if you have any problem you can check ones with the ministry of home affairs helpline number
