#AskTheExpert Hi , my baby girl born on 4th Aug and umbilical cord stump falls off on after 5 days. however the belly button is not completely healed. we used to clean everyday twice with sprit. could you please advice if we need to apply any ointment or power to heal it faster

u can put neosporin powder on it to dry it up.
If no improvement then consult your doctor for the same as he will prescribe medicine after the proper evaluation of the baby.
