#AskTheExpert hi , my baby boy suffering cold and cough , this problem came repeatedly just 7 or 10 days gap ,my doctor suggested take vaccine “” Influenza”” tall me can I take it to my child. Thank you sir.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. uCough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators orhr antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
iff fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Consult with your doctor in person for proper physical examination and treatment see your own treating doctor can guide you more and can solve your problems
