#AskTheExpert hi mam my daughter is 2.6 old suffering with cough while she is sleeping giving ascorilLs 3ml but she didn't get rid of cough plz suggest another medicine

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. cough and cold may be infective or allergic in cause.give steam to relieve congestion and nasoclear drops can also be used in nose multiple times can also give maxtra drops.cough sjdyrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive give kufril-ls. give only simple home-made preparations as required ,child will eat as symptoms resolve.
