Q.

#asktheexpert Hi Mam, My 7 month old daughter still not started babbling or Cooing..She is very hyper active most of the time..Sometimes she does finger flicking n looks to her fingers..Some times she responds to name and sometimes not..Her eye contact is also limited..Its very difficult to make her smile.. She will only cry or scream when she is hungry or sleepy..Sometimes she wants say something but she can only make "hmmm hmmm hmmm" sound only..I am very much worried..Please guide me..

A. Everything is normal in the behaviour of the child maybe your child is having its teeth which is why your child is biting on the fingers most of the times you should actually keep playing with your child you should look for some videos online also which will guide you how to play with a child and that’s what you can do with your child after learning from videos so I think that is going to be a good practice and the stability of eyes in terms of eye contact is mostly seen happening between the time of 6 to 9 months so there’s no problem
