#AskTheExpert Hi mam. i am getting blood clots in my menstrual period.. and heavy bleeding for 2 days... what may be the reason and solution?

A. That can happen to anyone and if it is a one time thing then it’s fine but if the bleeding is very heavy and you’re changing more than one pad per hour then and you need to consult your doctorWrite Your Answer Here

A. hi dear In a normal menstrual cycle, a balance between the hormones estrogen and progesterone regulates the buildup of the lining of the uterus (endometrium), which is shed during menstruation. If a hormone imbalance occurs, the endometrium develops in excess and eventually sheds by way of heavy menstrual bleeding.
