#asktheexpert Hi ma'am, My kid is 2 months and 8 days. and there is watery substance in her ears yesterday and now it looks like wax today. Could you please tell what this is and how it can be cured? and also she had her vaccine in thigh area on 1st July 2023,which is swollen till yet and some gath can be seen around the vaccinated area. we have applied thrombophob from the day when we saw swelling.How to get rid of it.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. there is a high probability that your child is having ear infection which might be either external or internal so visit your doctor immediately because ear drodps along with antibiotics may be required to decrease the infection and a medical examination is very important in this case and for ear pain you can give paracetamol for the time being dand prevent any water to enter the ears
