Q.

#asktheexpert Hi I want to know how the forearm bone joins back after fracture. My daughter got her one forearm bone fractured for the second time. When we get x-ray done from different angles, it seems that it's not joined. But doctor saying that it's recovering and will open plaster in 2 weeks. It's already been one month since fracture happened. Please throw some light on my doubt. Thanks and Regards Nancy Chawla

A. will take 3 months to normalise it is important to follow the instructions and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not undertake medicines or medical procedures not prescribed / guided by the doctor. take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification
