#AskTheExpert hi, I'm 35 years old and 14 weeks pregnant. double marker test is positive, it shows Edward syndrome increases, at a risk ratio of 1.63. however my NT scan is normal. I extremely stressed. plz suggest what should I do.

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. yes. do NIPT. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentIn such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion
