#AskTheExpert Hi, I have a baby girl age 3 months, I am nursing mother and concerned about my periods, can I be pregnant, should I take a pregnancy test, please advise

A. yes pregnancy can occur even if your periods are not yet started so it's better use proper contraceptive method if you feel you are pregnant yes you can check for urine pregnancy test

A. Hello mommy, Yes, it's absolutely possible to get pregnant while breastfeeding, despite the fact that breastfeeding does suppress ovulation. And as mentioned above, it's actually possible to get pregnant even before you get your first periods after the delivery. you should go for pregnancy test once and check.
