Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Good Morning.. My baby is 1 month old. My milk is not sufficient for her that's why I m giving formula milk to her. when she is born 30 ml formula milk is enough for her and it is povided 2 hrs time gap. currently she needed 60 ml of formula milk after one and half hr time gap.. is it ok to provide formula milk with this time gap?

A. there is no problem in giving formula milk again and again with decreased time gap if the child is hungry. you have to offer demand feeding that is if the child wants more milk then with regular burping you can give more milk with increased frequency also

A. Ya 6 AM it is fine if your child’s appetite is increasing there is nothing wrong with it but yes having after every 1 1/2 hours is quite a lot I think you should get your child check ones with the doctor if a 60 ML can be easily there at the age of two months if the child has good appetite but that should be for at least 2 to 3 hours
