#asktheexpert hi From past few days my baby is suffering from eye infection Please let me know what’s reason for it We consulted doctor he said it’s because of Kajal From that day we stopped it. But there is no change in eyes

normally simple secretions / allergy redness should not occur again and again.
use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes
if the child's eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection .
do not use any drops witout medical consultation
it is not advisable to use kajal application in the eyes of the child because many times it can be a source of infection as well as eyes allergy which can lead to conjunctivitis as well as infection in the eyes
it is not advisable even ifz it is made at home
