Q.

#AskTheExpert hi dr., my boy is 2 yr 2 month old. he has a fever since yesterday. whenever I gave him medicine T98 ,it goes down but after 2- 3hr it again rises the temp 103 f. he has no cold no cough. only fever i.e 102 f - 103f. he is active but refuses to eat n drink. I m not able to understand that what kind of fever is it? plz help me out

A. first consult your doctor,it can be dengue. these are the symptoms of dengue. My baby had the same symptoms in October, we consulted the dr. and took a dengue test ,it was positive initial stage.since then i started to give my baby only Tulsi water. It helps to recover dengue fever.

A. I already doing the same since yesterday. but the fever tendency is remain same

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so youtr can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
