#AskTheExpert Hi Dr, I gave birth to a baby boy 2 months ago. my menstruation not started yet. Do I need any contraception. please advise. thanks.

A. periods after delivery may resume any in between 1 year till then no medication is needed but just take care to use proper contraceptive method to avoid unwanted pregnancy do not take contraceptive pills on regular basis as you are breastfeeding
