#AskTheExpert Hi doctor now my is suffering from nose cold. and she is not sleeping from last 2 days.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. unCold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Vritika AroraMom of 2 children3 years agoA. keep the baby in elevated position while feeding. put saline drops in the nose. use Silicon sucker or dropper to remove excess mucus. give lots of indirect steam to the baby. you can even use baby vicks vapour for the baby.
