A. If your 8-month-old son feels weak and has pain in his legs and arms at night, it could be due to nutritional deficiencies, such as vitamin D or calcium, or it might be growing pains. Babies at this age are also becoming more active, and sometimes mild muscle soreness can happen. However, persistent pain or weakness is not normal and should be checked by a pediatrician. The doctor may recommend blood tests or supplements like vitamin D3, calcium, or iron based on your baby’s diet and growth. Ensure he gets enough sunlight exposure, proper weaning foods, and continues breastfeeding or formula.
