#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor. my son is 8 months old. he is currently on semi solid foods along with formula milk. his diet consists of rice, pulses and a fruit. he passes is stool quite hard and it hurts him while bowel moments. can there be something that can relief him from pains...

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Too much of any of cereal, could cause constipation in your baby.
Try to add some veggies or fruits in baby food preparation to soften stool and easy to evacuate.
give sipes of water after each solid feed.
Give Tummy Massage in clockwise direction.
