#asktheexpert Hi Doctor, my son is 4 years old (15.5kg), he got cough a month back we consulted paediatrician and using ascoril LS syrup, some what it is controlled, but it’s not fully reducing, can you suggest what can be done.

A. Hai good evening !! Wet cough might be due to phelgum accumulation takes time to clear. As you have given medication give warm water ,tulasi leaves extract with honey for 2-3 days daily morning it helps in reducing cough,clearing mucus.
