#AskTheExpert hi doctor my son is 3.5 months old ,he is often pooping , immediately after breastfeeding ,nearly 5-6 times a day sometimes more poop sometimes less poop .is that normal ?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist4 years agoA. it's fine . if stool consistency is paste like or little watery nothing to worry about feed on demand, burp well , hold upright after feeds for atleast 10 to 15 minutes. if stools are excessivley watery or foul smelling better to consult with your doctor for examination and treatment, if bottle feeding maintain sterility as its a common source of infection

SallutqiMom of a 4 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. pooping 5 to 6 time a day is absolutely normal... but he poops right after breastfeed it should be consult with pediatrician
