Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor. My Son is 2yrs old now.He identifies the things and understands what we say to him.But he utters few words like Amma, nanna,Tata,Mama and some times speaks in some language.I just wanted to know if it is okay at this age that he is not speaking more than these.Because I saw my friends kids speaking and singing rhymes. So want to clarify this. Thanks

A. hi well all babies are different so they grow at their own pace. so please don't compare your child with others. just keep talking with your child more. spend quality time with your child play different games, sing rhymes and read stories with your child it will help but please don't force your child and don't expect perfection at a time. avoid to allow watching TV mobile or any other gadgets at this tender age.
