Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi doctor...My son is 2 month 27 days old..From 1 week his potty is green in colour.. We are giving A to Z drops.. is that the reason his potty is green in colour or is there any other problem?

A. It can be due to the supplement so if the consistency of the motion is normal then nothing to worry and keep feeding your baby well on regular intervals take care

A. Green stools are normal in formula fed babies. But if u r exclusively breastfeeding then Green stools may also be due to the fact that baby is getting only low fat fore milk(milk that comes first) as they don't feed longer in one breast and switch breasts pretty soon. If u let the baby feed longer in one breast then he will get the high fat hind milk which comes later. But if the green stools continue or the consistency of the poop changes like too loose or too tight then u can consult with your pediatrician once.
