#AskTheExpert Hi doctor my son had ear infection (something yellow discharge) on 12 th may... we went to pediatrician on 13 th may. he prescribed NEOMYCIN SULPHATE POLYMYXIN B SULFATE AND HYDROCORTISONE ear drops and AMOXYCILLIN AND POTTASSIU. CALVULANATEORAL SUSPENSION IP for 5 days.... now its 5th day....i dont know now my baby got cured or not.... now my doubt is "How to know that my baby got cured".... shall i stop using????

A. Once on antibiotics, your child will get better in 2 or 3 days. Make sure you give your child the antibiotic as directed. The fever should be gone by 2 days (48 hours). The ear pain should be better by 2 days.
