#AskTheExpert hi doctor.. my son (6 months old) mostly drinks milk and sleep immediately. we are not able to make him burp as he sleeps. he spits the milk at times after he wakes up. please let us know how to make him burp. will there be any issue if he doesn't burp as he sleeps

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. Try to feed in between feeds. make sure to feed baby in elevated position. Alos try to Burp well baby in between feeds and alos after the feed. Give tummy time to baby if baby is comfortable. Just try to give warm compress over tummy for instant relief. Just soak a towel in warm water and squeeze water and gently press over tummy.
