#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, My kid is 4.6 years old. She is having fever from 2 days. When fever is more than 101, I m giving her Meftal-p syrup of 5ml. I gave her Meftal-p today afternoon. Now she is better and having fever around 99. I asked my husband to give her p-250 syrup of 7.5ml. By mistake, he gave Meftal-p 7.5ml. Will it cause any issue? I m bit scared. pls help me. Thanks in advance.

A. a single heavy dose for the child should not cause any major problem. there is a possibility that the child might have vomiting. it will be single episode and then it should stop. on the side effects part it dmay not be that much relevant so no need to worry. it is important that in the future you should give proper quantitdy to the child in case of medicines
